What Really Works for Aging Skin

New antiaging treatments, like topical bee venom and salmon sperm facials are trending. The science behind these is limited – but interest in this area only continues to grow. Our NatMed article reviews data on vitamin A, glycolic acid, DHEA, and bee venom. We recommend leaning toward topical vitamin A or glycolic acid first if patients are interested in trying natural antiaging products – they have stronger clinical support than most other ingredients.

The Compounding Chronicles

Design Now or Pay Later — Locked in Cleanroom
By Adam West, Course and Curriculum Manager at CriticalPoint

Decisions about cleanroom airflow design often become permanent long before facilities understand how the space will truly perform. By the time airflow visualization testing is conducted, the room is already built and operational, and it is difficult to modify. This leads to facilities managing the consequences of inefficient airflow patterns. This month’s Compounding Chronicle explores why early design planning is critical and how pressure relationships and airflow behavior can create unintended contamination challenges.
